The popularity of online shopping in Australia is no secret. Australians spent A$19 billion online in 2015, up from A$17 billion the previous year – a 12% increase.

Online transactions now make up about 7% of total retail transactions in Australia, and although that number is lower than other Western markets, it continues to grow consistently, particularly as delivery access to Australia's rural areas improves.
