More customers and more frequent orders is driving growth in online groceries in the United States, according to research from food strategists Brick Meets Click and Mercatus.
Over one-third (35%) of households shopped online for groceries in June, equal to 45.6m customers. This is up 2.6m (6.0%) from May and 6.1m (15.4%) from the start of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in March.
