The Economist: Real insight, real news, real trust - a real growth story

The Economist, a British magazine-style newspaper, created a cultural research programme using a longitudinal, multi-method approach, to gain an insight into peoples' perceptions during a trust crisis.

The Economist newspaper was founded in 1843 by British businessman James Wilson. Emblazoned on its front inner page since its first issue is its mission: "Published to take part in a severe contest between intelligence, which presses forward, and an
