Why consumer attitudes about electric cars are about more than being green

A qualitative research project by Facebook and The Nursery explored the factors that might be encouraging or discouraging people from buying electric vehicles (Evs).

Automakers are rapidly accelerating the development and marketing of electric vehicles (EVs), a shift propelled in no small part by climate change and legislative restrictions on emissions in many nations.

“The supply readiness is getting there,” Shekhar Deshpande, head of strategy/global accounts at Facebook, the social network, told delegates at MRS Impact, an event held online by the Market Research Society, the trade body, in March 2021.
