Donner Sang Compter: Blood Unity

Donner Sang Compter, a brand that links potential blood donors with patients, innovated an outdated and irrelevant sect-driven ritual in Islam and made it relevant to modern day to encourage blood donations in Lebanon.

Campaign Summary

On the Day of Ashura, in the Islamic calendar, a day of public mourning, hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Lebanon commemorate the death of Imam Hussein by inflicting selfharmas a form of sacrifice. While these men willingly spill their blood on the streets, Lebanon remains in desperate need of anyone who will willingly give their blood to those in need. Withno central blood bank, patients in Lebanon are forced to turn to social media in desperation.
